Hey all. Not been stitching much. Been watching Farscape dvd's. It is awesome!!! I want it. I am just waiting for the last movie (Peacekeeper wars). I have also been doing some reading. Mostly about successful women, angry men.... <-- get the significance? lol also reading a book called: You don't have to take it anymore!!!! hmmmm i sense a theme.

Well DUH, just checked myspace and I can't see my original start of Noahs Sub. So here is the first WIP pic.

Well, finally an update of Noahs Sub. I am going to continue working on this for K&M's babies... they will come eventually. They are both doing ok. They are healing.

I have not figured out the wonderful skill of editing my pics. Ah well, at least you can see my progress.

Well, K had the baby and it was not good. It was really too early, but this was a given.

There were issues regarding the intestines (outside of body). It was 7 inches long, a boy Max and she was given a wonderful memory box with pics, blankie, teddy with baby bracelet and hand and foot prints. It will help her heal. I was with them all day and it was a hard labour. She did good, my little baby girl!!! M and K did good and I am sending my loving thoughts out to them.

Sad news.
My daughter K is losing the baby. She is 17.5 weeks and the placenta is failing. :o(
We are all very sad and worried. Seems maybe the reason is getting preggers too quickly after the last miscarriage, but maybe not. Baby was fine, but kidneys shutting down due to lack of fluid in placenta. K will be going for an induction on Tuesday, please send warm, loving thoughts our way. She and M are hurting (as are we all for them). They will have to wait for after the wedding in April, but maybe there will be a honeymoon conception.

Still working on the sub... will be for her babies anyway.

So, think of us. I will be with her on Tues. Baby needs her mommy, and I am there!!!

Well, I am sorry to be so remiss. I have been busily stitching NS, but have been tired and not too motivated. K is now 16 weeks... I guess I better get motivated. Found out that a woman at work gave her a complete crib set of Noahs Ark.... OMG!! how kool is that? So the baby's room will be noahs ark and baby animals. My mom is crocheting some baby animals that are about 3 inches tall and they will have velcro at the hands and feet and can be attached to the crib rails, or almost anywhere. She made these for my kids 22 yrs ago... it was my idea... they will be so awesome. When i get pics i will post.
I know I havent' posted a pic this month, but I will soon,,,, i (gulp) promise.
Added another blog to my roll..... TW has a blog. now that is kool too.

Yee Haw!! Thanks Christine and Suz. I was beginning to think I was talking to meself... hmmm I guess I really am with a blog haha.
I haven't stitched much lately (sorry Kira....) but been reeeeealllly tired after the job evaluations. They are done now and we are all wiped. I know I promised to post a piccie of Noah's Sub, but I will wait a bit... maybe in a few days I will feel more myself.
On the other hand, with hubby being on 4-midnight shift, you think I would have time alone to myself. NO NO NO... I have been falling asleep at about 8 pm but holding out until 10ish (early for me the night hawk).
I did sign up for blogpatrol (to see who comes besided me ha ha) and could not remember my password. So I emailed em and got a wonderfully quick reply from Tony. He was wonderful. He also replied that my blogpatrol was not working and found my error and sent more info to correct my template. What a guy!!! Thanks Tony ( in case you read me). I was very impressed.
I have been reading Suz's and Whiz's blogs and found them very interesting and engaging. My brain is not fully functional to even TRY to emulate them. So I will just read them and enjoy the ride. ** note to self** make a schedule/plan/course of action to persue my blogs in an orderly fashion... hmmm my next ""list""".

So, not too much happenin on the home front. Hubby survived the second week back to work and this week is afternoons... can we say partay!!!!!!
Went out Fri nite and got right smashed... had 2 strawberry fruili beer (Belgian) and 6 chocolate martinis...mmmmm (licking lips) OMG were they awesome... Told hubby to be ready when I get home. lol Empty house this weekend. Kids gone and parents will play (giggle snerk).

Watching the second season of Dead Like Me on DVD.... I love that series... too bad it only lasted for 2 seasons.

UPDATE TIME: So hubby has gone back to work last week. He will be working shifts (bad for him good for me!!!). He is very tired and sore...methinks he is doing too much, even tho he is on light duties. He better take it easy. He is excited to think we may get some $$ saved to fix the house AFTER we pay down some bills. It will be nice to think of the $$ as we are both full time.
Still stitching the sampler.... am loving it too. Will post a piccie on the 20th or so. Got to see my future grandbaby again on the 11th... it is now 13 weeks old and was sleeping and baby is sooo cute ( as if I can really see it!!!!) K's belly is starting to bulge a little.
Had an awful dream last night... seems BOTH daughters were preggers.... OMG youngest is 17.... I woke up really fast!
Been busy as hell at work. We are in the middle of job evaluations. Not enough time and too much to do. We have added soooo much to the document that it went from 27 to over 50 pages! WOW are their eyes gonna pop :) We are all sooo exhausted and frustrated. We will see how much we are worth!!! I am thinking they have NO idea how much we really do. We are equivalent to a Library Assistant but we are not recognized as such. We do most of the same work, but even then we do more when they "pass the buck".
Been too tired to do much other than work, stitch and a bit of Pogo at the end of the day.

Well, I had a wonderful tele call. From B in England. OMG!!! Awesome voice.... just like smooth butter....yummy. B,,,, I love ya! It was a pleasant surprise and I am happy and complete. Hope you get to come to Canada someday... would love to show you around.

Well, onto other news. Still stitching away... Love my baby girl's sampler I am making it is going to be precious. Goodness, can't get B out of my mind. I only wish there was no one here... suddenly get tongue tied and shy....

Well other news. hubby went back to work yesterday. YAY... but he is tired and sore. not used to working since 2 yrs ago. just hope he can keep it up (snicker, giggle) as we need the $$ to get back in better financial shape...

Not much happening lately. Been busy stitching this EVERY day at lunch at work. Everyone is watching my progress, so they are keeping me going. It is such a pleasure to stitch. The colours are just gorgeous. in my links ----------> if you look at Dani's Noah's Sub link you can see what the finished product will look like, BUT, mine is done on custom dyed Fabbie called Summer Breeze by Silkweavers so I am not doing the stormy looking sky.

At home, well, hubby may be going back to work soon. Good thing too. We lost our home telephone in February (can't pay it) and were threatened with Hydro and Gas disconnection during the winter - yes they CAN do that. He will be going back to light duties, they are working on a contract to spell out what he can and can't do. We need the $$ terribly. It will be nice to get ahead of our bills again and try to get some savings in.
Oh yeah, hubby. Well, he still needs to learn to think before he speaks. I think his short term memory loss is making him forget things he says to me........ and then he accuses me of not listening. hmmmmmm maybe I shouldn't listen... methinks I may do that.

Not alot happening lately, dear friends. Been stitching on my dragon lots (getting a lot of the grass done- but am tired of the grass..... wanna stitch the draggie)

Been busy at work. Getting ready to train a new staff member coming into the fold. We will see what happens there. I have been trying to clean up our department drive, but lots of duplication and old stuff.... ah well, when we get the new staff member, maybe I will have time to devote to it. As it is, I have been busy just getting the training manual up to snuff.

Will be stitching this weekend on my main mad the dragon and have LOTS of DVD's to watch as well. Have also found a new author I like.... Melanie Jackson. She writes romance/fantasy. She focuses on Fey, goblins, and all the stuff inbetween. I have a feeling I am going to be reading lots....

Okily dokily. So, Bbaby (you know who you are) thought it odd he was not mentioned in my blog. Awww. sorry babe. Well, he is awesome and I can't wait to hear his voice.... supposedly a cockney accent mmmmmmmmmmmmm. and that giggle he he he gets me every time. I love to chat with him even tho his sig other is not happy bout that. Well, we ARE just friends and if she does not let me at least meet him this May when he comes over the pond to see Canada and is only 1 hour from me.... i will be spitting fire.... being the Taurus that I am.... and stubborn. well my inner dragon will come out.
I do look for him every time I get onto our fave site, but the time diff (he is 5 hrs ahead) makes it difficult... ah well, at least I have a piccie!!! yummy.
Not been stitching much, been too busy looking at new sites. Found some interesting BSDM sites and have been reading voyeuristically with much pleasure... hmm hubby may be interested to know what has got ME riled up. But that is another story.....
Been really tired lately, up late surfin and chatting..... STILL wondering if anyone reads me!!! I do read all my faves at least every couple of days. Like to keep on top of things..
Regarding my changes to my body, mind, psyche, and ALL things me. I have signed up to http://sparkpeople.com and am mightily impressed. Now i have to enter my data and READ a lot of stuff. The only problem I have (besides a severe sugar addiction) is my ability to actually post my measurements, size and state of my body. I love me but do not like my naked self. I am an ultra cool chick and have AWESOME ideas, thoughts and musings. I am also reading a tres cool book called The Thin Commandments and I think it may be my salvation. Really good ideas... may have to buy this one.
Still waiting on DT to give me that linkie...... Lynsky needs it WAAAAAAA
So at least I am keeping my word and trying to keep up to date with my blog.

Ok. Here I am trying to keep up regular posting. Did I mention that I have some really nice peeps? I never really realized how much I mean to some ppl and how much they mean to me. CP my friend (now like a sis) got me pixiepit for a year so we can play scrabble together. Thanks hon. Bison (pogo pal) and I had a nice chat. I am sorry he got divorced, but at least there were no kids... he is only 28 but wow what nice convos we have (giggle). Still waiting on DT to give me her blog link (hmmm wonder where she is lately?).

I have been stitching on Guardian and want to stitch more. That will be my next thing today, I hope,,, more XX on Guardian. I would love to have my own site, but I am still stupid with those things. Heck, I can hardly set this thing up. do do that I am has to use templates. dooooh.
have been reading lots on Wired - I sync it to my Palm and read on the way to work. Had quite an interesting write up on myspace.com and teens... found out my DD has one...hmmm gotta check that out. She told me her name but I don't wanna be too nosey.

DS likes to play Runescape quite regularly, you should see his little 11 yr fingers fly across that keyboard. He is making lots of online friends and learning how to barter and bid for items. It is quite the thing to see them dickering over prices for armour and spells and such.

In the big scheme of things, it has been pretty settled around us.
Have slowly been losing utilities... no $$ no bill paying. lost the tele last week. Damn DH..... and he is going back to work?????? when???? Need $$ desperately. ah well..... his insurance is paid up...hmmmmm 250k goes a long way. snerk, giggle...
Found out in January that I was gonna be a first time grandma... but alas poor K lost the wee one (3 months along). :o( but that is fine. better now. THEN she got THE RING on Valentines day... and now have set a date April 2007 YAY my baby getting married to the most wonderful man I have met in a long time. WTG Kiddo.
Still same old on the job front. just waiting for April 30 to see if I will still be in my job OR bumped into a $7/hour lower job. shit. trying to be upbeat, but hard to do when I love my job!!!and it WAS mine. I earned it and am good at it dammit.
