Well, here I am back again. It has been a while but DT told me she does look for my posts. I can't wait to get her blog addy..... hurry up DT "snerk". I have not been doing much. Been happy to be back to work in my OLD job. I love my job. Damn shame that it is only a temp till april. shiiiiiit. still have to look out for another job, as my new perm is an awful one...cleaner...what is that shit??? :(
Hubby was diagnosed as a diabetic and we are still waiting to see if he is a type 1 or 2 ah well, the same old crap...more things to worry about.

I am gonna try to post more often. maybe it will be cathartic for me.....

Well. It has been a while. I have been busy with work. Same old... I still love my job and it gets better everyday (tho how it can get better when it was GREAT to begin with).
I still read my fave blogs almost everyday. I should make more of an effort to maintain my page. So I will start with what I have been reading and stitching...

The Last Rune series by Mark Anthony.......it has 6 books and I could not put it down. it is sooo good that I have my mom and dad reading it too (considering it is the very first fantasy series my mom has EVER read!!! that will tell ya something). I tend to like series especially fantasy. This series is set on Earth and Eldh (another world similar to Earth in the middle ages - but with magic. Current era characters are pulled into the story and have more to do with the history of Eldh than anyone can imagine. www.lastrune.com
R is for Ricochet. Sue Grafton. Really good. a trip back down memory lane with Kinsey. Nice to come back to.
Stroke of Midnight by Laurell K Hamilton. what can I say. OMG what a great series. Merideth Gentry is a fairy princess of the dark court the Unseelie court. Lots of intrigue, sex, gorgeous guys, sex, and whew... is it warm in here.... the only thing wrong with Laurell is that she is only writing one Meredith Gentry book every other year.... interspersed with her Anita Blake series.... another good hot one involving vampires, werewolves.... need I say more??? www.laurellkhamilton.com

Now to get to the stitching. I have been working on my BAP Missal Illuminated manuscript page. It is a monster. it is 600x845? sts about 25x36 inches when done.... try wielding that fabbie and stitching. MISS ME ????

I can't believe how much time has passed. I have not been stitching much as in August 2004 finally got my full time permanent job with the library. I am now the official scheduler/trainer for my department of 12.We are a great unit. We are amazing!!!!! Talk about diverse and dynamic. We are the incoming/switchboard, information, e-ref, quick answering people of the Library. We screen and direct all incoming calls. We can answer just about anything. I love the fact that you never know what you are going to get - just like Forrest Gump. I love the rush of the unknown, the thrill of finding the answer and just the general comraderie. I love my job.....can ya tell???
Well, around the homefront, DH is not going to counselling as much as he should. He still has issues and he needs to chill and relax. I am so tired of his shit. I warned him, yet again that I don't like the way he treats us. he walks around in a perpetual gloom and we are all on pins and needles. So he has chronic pain, so??????? people who love him are sick of the poor me, everyone is picking on me.....isthis the voice of an almost 48 yr old man??? puh leeze. If he can give his internet sweeties and so called friends smiles, jokes and a happy face.......... we want some too. I am sick of it. How to fix it? well M still wants to have an affair.......lol, but I will keep it as a friend. But damn..... he thinks I am ok/cute but not sexy... honesty I can deal with. lol hmmmmmm feels good to be wanted even if it might be down and dirty sex.... nah not yet.(snerk, grin)
Enuf griping. I am gonna stitch and read some more of The Last Rune series by Mark Anthony. I am on book 4 Blood of Mystery and am loving it. Except that my mom and dad are nipping at my heels.....they are next in line to read it... gotta love it..my dad introduced me to Sci fi and Fantasy as a teen and now even my mom is reading it. :o)
